This here watch, it’s somethin’ else, I tell ya. It’s called a CopyOMEGA, Ω Speedmaster Apollo 8, somethin’ about the “Dark Side of the Moon”. Sounds fancy, don’t it? My grandson, he’s always talkin’ about these fancy watches. This one, it’s supposed to be like the one them astronaut fellas wore when they went up to the moon. Back in the day, you know. Apollo 8, that’s what they called it. Big deal back then. We all watched it on that little black and white TV, rabbit ears and all.
This here CopyOMEGA, it’s a good one. They say it’s like the real deal. “Original order,” they call it. Like it come from the same place as the real ones. I don’t know about all that, but it sure does look nice. Shiny and black, like a new-plowed field under the moonlight. And it’s got all them little dials and numbers. Makes me dizzy just lookin’ at ’em.

Some kinda laser somethin’, makes it look like the moon. The near side, he said. I don’t know my near side from my far side when it comes to the moon, but it does look kinda neat, I gotta admit.
Heard from someone that they ain’t makin’ these no more. Said they took it outta the book. The big book with all the watches in it. Still can find out about it, though, if ya look hard enough. The real ones they call Omega, and the one I’m talkin’ about is the CopyOMEGA. Just like it, but cheaper. Don’t tell nobody I said that.

My eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I can still see that this watch is somethin’ special. Even if it ain’t the real one, the real Omega Dark Side Moon Apollo 8, this CopyOMEGA is good enough. It’s got that look, you know? That look that says you know somethin’ about somethin’. Even if you don’t. I think it’s good. It is good for you. You will like it, just like the real one.
