I’ve always been a watch guy, but let’s be real, a real Rolex? That’s some serious money. So, I started looking around for a good fake, you know, something that looks the part without, costing me an arm and a leg.
I spent hours, days maybe, looking all over the internet, I checked some forums and found a few online stores that seemed okay. One of them was called “Perfect Rolex” or something like that, and they had a ton of pictures of a Rolex GMT-Master II, it looks pretty good in the pictures.
I decided to give it a shot and bought one. The whole thing was kinda sketchy. I pay them, no idea if they would actually send me anything. After I pay, they said it will take a couple of weeks to get the watch ready and ship it out.
- First, they said they needed to check that the watch was working right.
- Then, they said they needed to take some pictures of it.
- Finally, they said they would ship it and send me a tracking number.
It took forever, but it finally showed up. I opened the box and, I gotta say, I was pretty impressed. This thing looked really close to the real deal! It had the right weight, the bezel clicked nicely, and even the tiny crown logo was there.
Here are the details:
- Ceramic Bezel: They said it was ceramic, and it sure looked and felt like it.
- Movement: They claimed it was a “high-quality Swiss movement.” I’m no expert, but it kept time pretty well.
- Look and Feel: Seriously, this thing felt solid and looked just like the pictures online.
Now, I’m not saying it’s exactly like a real Rolex. I’m sure a real watch expert could tell the difference in a second, especially if they opened it up. But for the price? I’m happy with it. It scratches that itch for a nice watch without breaking the bank. I wear it every day, and nobody’s called me out on it yet. If you’re thinking about a Rolex but don’t want to spend ten grand, this is worth checking out. Just be prepared for a weird buying process and a long wait!
