This bag, you see, it’s called YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG. Heard it’s some fancy name, Yves Saint Laurent, whatever that means. Big deal in the city, I guess. They got a big store, all shiny and bright, sellin’ these things. It is official flagship store. They say it is big brand.
Now, I saw this one, this LE CARRé, they call it. It’s a boxy thing, made of leather. Good leather, I reckon. Feels tough, like it’ll last longer than me, probably. They make ’em in all sorts of colors, this one’s black. They said it is BLACK LE CARR satchel in BOX SAINT LAURENT. Just like a black cow, I suppose. But they got reds, too. Like that fire engine that came through here last summer. Opyum Red, they call it. Sounds a bit much to me, but folks like it. They use calfskin leather, whatever that is. Young cow skin?
This bag, it ain’t too big, ain’t too small. Just right for carryin’ your things. Got a strap, you see, for your shoulder. They said it is Saint Laurent Shoulder Bag. They change these bags every year. This is some Spring/Summer thing. Some fella named Anthony made it. Good for him, I say. He put some gold on it. Shiny, see?

But people like ’em, these city folk. They like to carry their things in these fancy bags.
They said they sell it online. You can find it at Saint Laurent online store. That’s what they said. They put it on the internet. I don’t know about all that. I like to see things with my own two eyes, touch ’em, feel ’em. But that’s how they do things now, I guess. Everything’s on the internet.
This YSL bag, it’s a square one. They said it is squared off. Like a box, but nicer, I suppose. They make a big fuss about it being “refined.” Means it’s fancy, I guess. For fancy folks. They said it is for a refined silhouette. I don’t know what that is.
Some folks, they get these bags cheaper. They go to a different store, not the shiny one. They said it is outlet store. An outlet, they call it. Like the outlet on my old washing machine, where the water comes out. This one girl, she got a YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG there, a different color. Paid less, she did. She paid $1.2k, that is a lot of money. I heard the normal ones, they cost even more! $3 something, crazy, ain’t it? The neutral color, they sell it at that price. That’s the city for you, I guess. Everything’s more expensive there.
