Is it a Remake? PRADA Bowler Bag Hits Official Flagship Store Shelves! (Here is Where to Get Yours)

Okay, so I saw this PRADA Bowler Bag at the official flagship store the other day, and I was like, “I gotta have it!” But the price tag? Ouch. So, I thought, why not try to remake it myself? Yeah, that’s the spirit!

First, I spent hours online just staring at pictures of the bag, trying to figure out how it’s made. Zoom in, zoom out, left side, right side, I wanted to know all the details. I even tried to find videos of people showing off the bag, just to see it in motion, you know?

Then, the real work began. I dusted off my old sewing machine, the one my grandma gave me. Pulled out some fabric I had lying around. I started cutting and sewing, trying to mimic the shape of the bag. Let me tell you, it was rough. The first few attempts were… well, let’s just say they weren’t exactly PRADA quality.

I messed up a bunch of times. Seams were crooked, the handles were wonky, and the whole thing looked more like a deflated football than a stylish handbag. I almost gave up, seriously. But I kept at it, ripping out stitches, re-cutting fabric, and starting over.

  • I switched up the fabric.
  • I watched some more sewing tutorials online.
  • I even asked my friend, who’s really good at this stuff, for some tips. She did give me some nice suggestions!

Slowly but surely, it started to come together. I added a zipper, some lining, and even managed to get the little PRADA logo on there (don’t tell anyone, haha). It’s not perfect, not by a long shot, but it’s mine.

And you know what? I’m actually kind of proud of it. It’s a reminder that even if you can’t afford the real thing, you can still get creative and make something cool. I finished it and I am pretty happy with the result!

So, yeah, that’s the story of how I attempted to remake a PRADA Bowler Bag. It was a wild ride, but I learned a lot, and now I have a unique bag that I can say I made myself. Maybe next time I’ll try a different one, or maybe I won’t, I haven’t decided yet.
