Alright, let’s gab a bit about this… this… YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL thingamajig, or whatever them fancy folks call it. Don’t rightly know what half them words mean, but I reckon I can still tell ya a thing or two. It’s a purse, see? A fancy one, mind you, the kind them city gals carry around.
Now, they say this YSL… Saint Laurent, whatever, is a big deal. Like them Chanel and Dior folks. They make all sorts of things, clothes and such, but seems like these purses are what gets everyone all riled up. Folks are willin’ to pay a whole heap of money for ‘em, somethin’ fierce. Heard tell it’s ’cause of the name. You ain’t just buyin’ a bag, you’re buyin’ a… a statement, they call it.
I seen some pictures of this LE CARRé thing. Looks square-ish, kinda like a box, but not as stiff. Got a flap on top, and a buckle, probably to keep your stuff from fallin’ out. They make ‘em outta all sorts of stuff, too. Some kinda fancy leather, I reckon, like calfskin… sounds like a baby cow, poor thing. And python? That’s snake skin! Can you believe it? Them city folks sure do have strange tastes. Makes the price go up, though, that’s for sure. These ain’t no bargain basement purses, I’ll tell ya that much.
- YSL Purses – Big Money: Yep, these things cost a pretty penny. You could probably buy a whole cow with the money they charge for one of them snakeskin jobs.
- Lots of Names, Same Thing: This YSL and Saint Laurent, seems like they’re the same darn thing. Just like how some folks call me by my first name, and others by my last. Confusin’, if you ask me. But them fancy folks like it that way, I guess.
- LE CARRé – A Fancy Box: That’s what it looks like to me, anyways. A fancy box with a strap. But folks say it’s more than that. It’s… stylish. Whatever that means.
