Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch for a while now. You know, the one with the open case back? It’s not the real deal, obviously, but it looks pretty darn close. Anyway, I finally pulled the trigger and got one for myself.
First off, finding an online store that sells these things was a bit of a chore. Lots of shady websites out there, but I finally stumbled upon one that seemed legit, with lots of pictures and some okay reviews. The price was good, a lot cheaper than the original of course, around 5 bucks, so I thought, “Why not?” and placed an order.
The waiting game was tough. Every day I was checking the tracking info, hoping it would magically appear on my doorstep. Then, after what felt like forever, it finally arrived! I ripped open the package like a kid on Christmas morning.
And there it was. It looked good, felt heavy in my hand, and the details were surprisingly accurate. The numbers are clear, and everything seems to be lined up just right. I spent the next few hours just staring at it, winding it, and listening to the ticking sound. Pretty cool, huh?
- First, I checked the water resistance.
- The real one can handle 50 meters, but I decided not to push my luck with this one.
- Just splashed a bit of water on it, and it was fine.
Now, I’m not gonna lie, I wore it out to a few places, and guess what? People noticed! I got a couple of “Nice watch!” comments, and I just smiled and said, “Thanks!” No one seemed to suspect a thing.
But, yeah, the accuracy isn’t great. I mean, a real Speedmaster is super accurate, like -2/+2 seconds a day or something crazy. This one? Not so much. I have to adjust it every now and then, but hey, it’s not a big deal for me.
So, What’s the Verdict?
Well, if you’re looking for a fancy watch that won’t break the bank, and you’re okay with it not being 100% accurate, then this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster is a pretty sweet deal. It’s fun to wear, gets some attention, and it’s a great conversation starter. Just don’t expect it to perform like the real thing. It’s like that saying, “You get what you pay for,” and in this case, I’m pretty happy with what I got.
But hey, if you’ve got the cash for a real Omega, then go for it! But if you’re on a budget like me, this copy is a fun little alternative. I wear it all the time now, and I gotta say, I’m digging it!
