Man, I’ve been messing around with watches lately, and let me tell you about this one I got my hands on – the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster “Silver Snoopy Award” 50th Anniversary, the original order version. It’s been a bit of a journey, so grab a seat, and I’ll spill the beans.
So, first off, I heard about this watch through the grapevine. You know how it is, you hear whispers, see a few posts online, and suddenly you’re down the rabbit hole. This “Silver Snoopy Award” thing has been super popular since it came out in 2020, and I was just like “Oh yeah? let me find it”.
I started digging around, looking for a pre-owned one. Found a reference number – 310.32.42.50.02.001 – and that’s when things got real. I mean, there have been other Snoopy Speedmasters, but this one? It’s different. I’m not even a watch expert, but even I could tell.
- I looked everywhere, on those watch forums, those online marketplaces, you name it.
- Finally, I found a seller who had the “full set” as they say. Box, papers, the whole shebang.
- We haggled a bit on the price – gotta get a good deal, right?
When it finally arrived, I was like a kid on Christmas morning. Tore open that package and there it was. Silver dial, blue accents on the sub-dials… it looked even better in person. The pictures online didn’t do it justice. And the box! It’s a special presentation box, just for this watch.
Now, I’m not a technical guy, but I did a little reading. Apparently, it’s got this OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 movement. I guess that means it’s super accurate and can handle magnets or something. All I know is, it feels solid, well-made. I wound it up and it started ticking away. It’s alive!
Then there’s the whole Snoopy and NASA connection. I found out that Snoopy has been like NASA’s good luck charm since the ’60s. And this “Silver Snoopy Award” is a big deal for them. It’s like a thank you for making their missions successful. There’s something cool about wearing a watch with that kind of history, you know?
I found out this 50th Anniversary version is kind of special. Apparently, the older Snoopy watches were limited editions. This one isn’t, which I guess is good because more people can get their hands on it. I like it!
I’ve been wearing it for a few days now, and I gotta say, I’m pretty happy with it. It’s a conversation starter for sure. People notice it, ask about it. And I get to tell them the whole story about how I found it, what it means, and all that jazz. It’s not just a watch, it’s a little piece of history, a story on my wrist. So yeah, that’s my adventure with the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster “Silver Snoopy Award”. It’s been fun, a little frustrating at times, but totally worth it in the end. If you get the chance to check one out, do it. You won’t regret it.
