This little guy should remain very small, looking at his tiny structure, and with such petite parents. Born a couple of hours past the midnight new year hour, he was indeed a pleasant New Year's surprise, thus the name.

This small, lovely jennet is out of 31.25" Tahitian Star (red dapple) and sired by 30.25" dark red, Sparkplug. Ali is very straight and wide, and such a little love bug. I couldn't be happier with this beautiful foal. I expect a mature height of less than 31", based on size and body structure. Ali's bright, white forehead star has a small, red mark in the center. I can barely move when I am in the baby paddock, as Ali is constantly goosing me and pushing on me for love and kisses. I would LOVE to retain this baby, but I am willing to share, as I am trying to keep life simple with only a few donkeys.

Sparkleberry has it all - tiny size, superb conformation and dark red color. Dam is 28.25" Jilly Anne, sire is 30.25" Sparkplug. This is Sparkplug's first foal and my expectations have been more than fulfilled. Sparkle should mature at less than 29", based on parents and her teensy bone structure. I can't help to call this baby anything other than "Jilly Jr.". LOL , this tiny, compact, very round little jennet is the mirror image of her mama and keeps me laughing with her bold, fearless antics. Thus, the name, JJ - for Jilly Jr.

Mimi is a little bundle of energy - she gives busy, busy little donkey kisses and quick little bunny hops, tiny little hooves try to climb in my lap, and when I lean over, she tries to climb up my back and neck. Everything about her is tiny and quick, and she is such a joy to me. I keep trying to call her Zinger, like the tart, red Celestial Red Zinger tea. Blondie produces wonderful babies.

This tiny girl was only 16.5" at birth and is very dark, vibrant red. I named Cherry Belle after a tiny, spicy, but delicious red radish. Cherry Belle and Jolene look like bright spots of fire in the pasture. I expect this tiny jennet to mature under 27". Cherry Belle is delightful and the gives each of my days an extra little spark.

I can't take a photo to capture just how vibrant, neon red, this little guy is. I think he might be even deeper red than his sire, and that's hard to beat. Neon is very correct, with such an outgoing, sweet personality. Neon climbs right in your lap, lays his head on your shoulder, falls asleep and starts snoring. He'll sleep in your lap as long as you let him. I expect Neon to mature very small - just about his dam/sire's height. Neon is for sale - available late December/January.

What a totally cute, squeezable toy. Chunk is like a soft, fuzzy, stuffed bear and we've been having so much fun watching him and hugging him. You can't resist picking him up and giving him an extra kiss. He's very nicely built - very short, stocky and chunky. That's the best word to describe him! He will probably mature 28 - 29".

Her paternal side includes Dodge City Jack of Spades (black), SS Red Lightening (red) The Fireman (red), Little Motown (black). Her maternal side is composed of almost all red, including Valentino 49 (Winchester) and Valentino 75 (Red Baron). I hope to be able to retain Cecily Rose, although with particularly high farm costs this year, she is currently for sale.
